Pharmacist in Bronx, NY

A position is available for a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical services in a 100-bed community hospital located in a northern suburb of New York City. This contract role starts as soon as possible and will last approximately 13 weeks, offering a variable schedule covering days and afternoons.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Consult with physicians and healthcare professionals on medication therapies
• Manage pharmacokinetics and other clinical pharmacy functions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Schedule:

• Variable shifts covering day and afternoon hours
