This per diem pharmacist opportunity offers a dynamic role in a retail pharmacy setting located in the Bronx, NY. The pharmacist will be responsible for typical retail pharmacy duties, including supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient and safe workflow.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations and supervising pharmacy technicians
• Dispensing medications accurately and counseling patients

• Utilizing pharmacy software for filling and record-keeping, preferably Pioneer Rx

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid pharmacist license and applicable certification
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations with a familiarity supervising pharmacy technicians
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS specialty medications is highly preferred; candidates are encouraged to discuss their specific experience in this area
