A healthcare facility in need of a Clinical IV Pharmacist to support their pharmacy team is seeking a qualified professional for a contract to hire opportunity. This position involves hands-on clinical responsibilities with a focus on intravenous medications and patient care.

Location: Brookland, Arkansas
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Duration: 3-6 months initially

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every third weekend on call

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Prepare and mix IV medications in a sterile clean room environment as needed
• Perform various clinical duties, including interpreting laboratory results to support medication management
• Provide flexible support across different clinical areas as required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year current experience as an IV Pharmacist
• Active and clear Arkansas pharmacist license
• Clean background check and drug screening
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to read and interpret lab results accurately
• Adaptability and willingness to assist in multiple clinical settings to meet patient care needs
