Per Diem Pharmacist in Brooklyn, NY

An urgent need exists for a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide critical coverage at a pharmacy location in the Bronx, NY. The initial shift is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, with additional shifts available on an as-needed basis starting in November. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist who can offer flexible support during weekday hours and help ensure continuous pharmacy operations.

Location:

• Bronx, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends
• Closed most federal holidays
• Per Diem, as needed shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medication support and education to patients
• Manage and oversee pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, as applicable
• Identify and address knowledge gaps through staff education and training initiatives
• Maintain pharmacy operational management, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
• Ensure adherence to professional pharmacy practices and regulatory requirements to optimize patient safety

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License required
• Open to candidates with any level of pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients and staff effectively
• Ability to manage operational workflow and pharmacy team leadership
