A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available for professionals with experience in pharmacy practice and a valid New York pharmacy license. Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Starting March 24

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications following established protocols.
• Review prescription orders for accuracy and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage and answer any related questions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Utilize Enterprise RX computer system for pharmacy operations and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacy License required.
• Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail or hospital setting.
• Proficient in using pharmacy-related computer systems; experience with Enterprise RX is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
