Per Diem Pharmacist in Brooklyn, NY

This role offers the opportunity to work in an independent retail pharmacy setting located in Hempstead, NY. The position involves per diem hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Schedule:

• 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Arrive by 10:45 AM daily
• Remain until 7:15 PM for smooth handoff and closing transition

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily independent retail pharmacy duties ensuring safe and efficient medication dispensing
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support customer needs and maintain compliance with state regulations
• Assist with patient education and immunizations as needed
• Oversee pharmacy operations during assigned shifts, ensuring accuracy and excellent service

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
• Immunization certification strongly preferred
• Proven community or retail pharmacy experience
• Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system is highly valued
• Spanish fluency is a bonus; primary translation support is available from pharmacy technicians
