Pharmacist | Brooksville, Kentucky

A community hospital is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract basis. This position requires an immediate start, ideally within 7 to 10 days from the offer date. You will serve a 100-bed facility located near the Kentucky/Ohio border, working Monday through Friday on day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles to optimize medication therapy
• Consulting directly with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A valid Kentucky pharmacist license
• Proven experience in hospital or community pharmacy settings
• Ability to start promptly and commit to the full 13-week assignment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clinical teams
