This travel pharmacist opportunity in Buellton, CA offers a chance to provide specialized pharmacy services across a facility with 60 acute care beds and over 100 long-term care beds. With an ASAP start and a contract duration of 26 weeks or longer, you will play a critical role in supporting patient care through effective medication management.

Schedule and Work Hours: • Variable days and afternoons • Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities: • Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medication dispensing • Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance • Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmacotherapy plans • Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient care decisions • Utilize Altera Sunrise pharmacy system, with comprehensive training provided on this unique platform

Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active California pharmacist license is required • Current hospital pharmacy experience preferred to thrive in this acute and long-term care environment
