Provide expert pharmacy care in a dynamic hospital setting located in Bullhead City, AZ, as a travel pharmacist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical skills while working on a 7 on/7 off schedule, with shifts lasting 10 to 12 hours.
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Weekends: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Key responsibilities include verifying medication orders with precision, supervising pharmacy technicians, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care, and managing pharmacokinetics assessments. Familiarity with MedHost electronic medical records will support your workflow and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Arizona pharmacist license
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
- Hospital pharmacy experience including IV certification and related competencies
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and protocols
