A unique opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with experience in sterile compounding to provide PRN and vacation coverage in a well-established sterile compounding pharmacy. Location:

  • Wichita Falls, TX (close to Burkburnett, TX)

Schedule/Hours:

  • Per Diem (PRN and vacation coverage)
  • Pharmacy hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense sterile compounded medications in compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control in all medication preparations
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Support the pharmacy team during periods of increased workload or staff absence

Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist with sterile compounding expertise
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and USP <797> guidelines
  • Experience in a sterile compounding pharmacy setting preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills for patient and team interactions
