A pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide PRN and vacation coverage in 2026 at their sterile compounding facility. This position supports an efficient and patient-focused pharmacy operation dedicated to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Schedule: Per Diem (as-needed coverage)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications in accordance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
  • Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all compounding and dispensing activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in sterile compounding preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently during PRN shifts.
