Pharmacist | Burlington, North Carolina

A compounding pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract to hire arrangement in Burlington, NC. This role offers hands-on experience preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions, working closely with healthcare teams to deliver personalized patient care.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to address patient-specific pharmaceutical needs
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions following safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory effectively
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to optimize patient health outcomes
• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Experience or willingness to learn pharmacy software similar to QS1 (training provided)
