13-Week Hospital Contract | Potential Extension or Direct Hire!

Looking for your next hospital pharmacy opportunity? This amazing 13-week Staff Pharmacist contract offers a chance to work in an inpatient setting with the potential for an extension or direct-hire opportunity in Burlington, NC! Enjoy a quick drive over to Greensboro, NC which offers a great mix of city convenience and Southern charm, with a lively downtown scene and excellent dining/entertainment! 

What does a day look like for you?

• Support medication preparation and dispensing
• Review, interpret, and verify medication orders
• Help maintain medication inventory, cart fills, and controlled substances
• Supervise pharmacy technicians throughout the medication-use process
• Provide drug information and support to the nursing team
• Work with Epic EHR, Epic Dispense Prep, and Omnicell systems

Flexible Schedule Options!

• Option #1 – Rotating Schedule

Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts. Shift times may include: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM....9:00 AM–5:30 PM...or 1:30 PM–10:00 PM with rotating every 3rd weekend.

• Option #2 – 7 On / 7 Off Schedule: 11:30 AM–10:00 PM (10-hour shifts)

Requirements: 

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist License
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Sterile compounding experience
• Experience with or familiarity with Epic & Omnicell
• Knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> is a plus
