Pharmacist in Burnsville, MN

A Long Term Care Pharmacist opportunity is available to provide overnight coverage from 9pm to 7am, working a consistent 7 days on and 7 days off schedule (Tuesday through Monday). This role focuses on delivering pharmaceutical care within a long-term care facility environment, ensuring smooth nighttime operations and high-quality medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy staff during overnight shifts to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with regulations
• Perform PV2 final verifications to ensure accuracy and safety in medication dispensing
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to support patient care in a long-term care setting

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License is required
• One or more years of recent pharmacy experience, ideally within long-term care settings
• Familiarity with Framework pharmacy management system preferred
