Pharmacist - Burnsville, MN

A Long Term Care Pharmacist opportunity is available offering overnight coverage from 9 PM to 7 AM on a 7-on/7-off schedule, Tuesday through Monday. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical services during overnight hours, ensuring accurate medication management and supporting staff in a long-term care setting.

• Overnight coverage: 9 PM to 7 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Tuesday through Monday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight supervision and leadership to pharmacy staff.
• Perform final verifications of prescriptions (PV2).
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with all long-term care pharmacy protocols.
• Maintain quality control and uphold patient safety standards during overnight shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support medication management and resolve issues as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Minnesota pharmacist license required.
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Experience with Framework software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently overnight.
• Excellent communication skills for supervising and supporting overnight staff.
