A licensed Pharmacist is needed to support a busy mail order/specialty pharmacy processing around 2,500 prescriptions daily. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a skilled team and help maintain compliance with evolving state requirements. The position is based in Mendota Heights, MN, with a commitment of one day per week and an assignment length of approximately 16 weeks, with potential for extension.

Location:

  • Mendota Heights, MN

Schedule:

  • 1 day per week
  • Approximately 16 weeks (possibility for ongoing work)

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately review and verify prescriptions in a high-volume mail order/specialty pharmacy setting
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Collaborate with other pharmacists to maintain operational efficiency and quality of care
  • Support the team during transitions due to state licensing exams

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Pharmacist license required
  • Minnesota Pharmacist license preferred but not mandatory
  • Licenses must be in good standing with regulatory boards
  • Previous experience in mail order or specialty pharmacy is highly desirable
