Pharmacist in Burnsville, MN

Provide expert pharmaceutical services at a high-volume mail order/specialty pharmacy processing approximately 2,500 prescriptions daily. This role supports a large team of pharmacists adapting to recent state requirement changes, ensuring seamless operations while colleagues prepare for additional state exams. This contract position offers the potential for ongoing work beyond the initial assignment.

Location: Mendota Heights, MN

Schedule:

• One day per week
• Approximately 16 weeks in duration

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and dispense medications in a fast-paced mail order/specialty pharmacy setting
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support workflow and maintain high service levels
• Maintain documentation and assist in quality assurance processes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license required
• Minnesota Pharmacist license preferred but not mandatory
• Licenses must be in good standing with respective boards
• Experience in mail order or specialty pharmacy is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload efficiently
