Retail Pharmacist | Bushkill, Pennsylvania

An established retail pharmacy location in Dingmans Ferry, PA is seeking a full-time Pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity. The position offers a variable day/afternoon schedule with an average of 69 bi-weekly hours, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in filling prescriptions by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and quality assurance consistent with state and federal regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build profitability and increase prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available.
• Oversee inventory control by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet demand while maximizing profits.
• Align team performance with key department metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries, providing healthcare counseling, and resolving issues to maintain customer loyalty.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and overall department cleanliness and organization.
• Interact with physicians and use clinical references to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Prioritize pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call follow-ups to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
