Pharmacist - Bushnell, IL

A rural hospital in Illinois is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support their 25-bed healthcare facility. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your hospital pharmacy expertise in a close-knit, community-focused environment.

Location:

• Macomb, IL

Position Type:

• Contract (13 weeks with possible extension)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Potential weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and manage medications in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Monitor and adjust pharmacotherapy based on patient needs
• Provide expertise on nutritional support, IV therapy, and pharmacokinetics if applicable
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent hospital pharmacy experience
• Additional training or experience in nutritional support, IV therapy, and pharmacokinetics highly beneficial
