Per Diem Pharmacist in Cactus, TX

A rural community health center seeks a Per Diem pharmacist to provide dedicated pharmacy services from July 15th through July 31st. This role supports an intimate pharmacy environment focused primarily on patients over 50 years old, managing approximately 120-130 prescriptions daily.

Schedule and hours:

• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety
• Provide thorough patient counseling focused on medication adherence and health management
• Supervise and manage two experienced pharmacy technicians
• Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system in daily operations

Qualifications:

• Current, clear, and active Texas pharmacist license
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills for working in a small team setting
