A travel pharmacist position is available for immediate start in Cal Nev Ari, NV. This contract opportunity offers a 7-on, 7-off schedule with shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours, providing ample work-life balance for the right candidate. The schedule includes weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Weekdays: 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Weekends: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• 10-12 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure optimal workflow
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy and patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetics and provide clinical guidance on drug dosing
• Utilize MedHost electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and communication

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Arizona pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience
• IV certification and hands-on experience administering IV medications
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practice
