A position is available for an Oncology Pharmacist within a community health system located in El Centro, CA. This opportunity offers a focused role supporting oncology patients through collaboration with nurses and healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

This contract position begins immediately and will last approximately 13 weeks with the potential to transition to permanent employment if mutually agreeable.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and managing oncology medication therapies to support patient care
• Collaborating closely with nursing staff and providers to optimize treatment outcomes
• Working effectively within a smaller community health system environment, adapting to its unique pace and culture

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current California Pharmacist license required
• Solid background in oncology pharmacy practice
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) designation is preferred
• Strong communication skills and comfort in a community health system setting
