A specialized infusion pharmacy serving a cancer center requires an experienced Pharmacist to provide coverage for a leave of absence. This contract opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no nights or weekend shifts, allowing for a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely, with emphasis on chemotherapy and oncology treatments.
• Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Verify prescriptions and provide clinical support related to cancer therapies.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and cancer treatment guidelines.
• Counsel patients on medication use and potential side effects related to oncology therapies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license.
• Current experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of oncology medications, infusion protocols, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Open to travel, with flexibility regarding the start date.
