A unique opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a well-established hospital setting. This role offers a chance to engage with advanced technology systems and gain valuable experience within a respected healthcare network.

Location:

• Oxnard, CA – Ventura County (Los Angeles metro area)
• Approximately 300-bed hospital environment

Schedule:

• Night shifts with a 7-on, 7-off rotation
• Shift hours: ~9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and hospital protocols
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell software systems to manage medication orders and inventory
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to provide optimal pharmaceutical care
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Participate in medication therapy management and provide patient counseling when appropriate

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

• Current Pharmacist licensure in the state of California
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records and Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
