An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to support night shift operations at a leading hospital within a renowned healthcare system. This 13-week+ contract role offers a unique schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, with hours from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a structured and predictable rhythm suited to night owls and those seeking extended breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications during the night shift to meet hospital patient needs.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, utilizing hospital systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for seamless medication management.
• Monitor drug usage and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and provide pharmaceutical care support.
• Address urgent medication-related inquiries and support emergency situations promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is essential.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system and Pyxis medication dispensing technology.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and hospital procedures.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with excellent attention to detail.
