Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions in accordance with hospital protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for rehab patients
- Monitor patient responses to medications and provide counseling as needed
- Utilize electronic systems including Epic and Pyxis for medication management and documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts pharmacist license preferred; retail pharmacists and new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience or familiarity with hospital pharmacy practices, particularly in a rehab setting, is highly valued
- Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems or willingness to learn quickly
