Pharmacist in Cambridge, MA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to work in a rehab hospital setting in the Boston area. This contract position offers a structured Monday through Friday day shift schedule, providing consistent weekday hours and an engaging clinical environment.

Location: Cambridge, MA (Boston area)

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks+, starting ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care in accordance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient medication management in a rehab hospital setting
• Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems effectively for medication order entry and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, side effects, and interactions

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts (retail or new graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, preferably in rehab or acute care settings
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing patient-centered pharmaceutical care
