A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at a main health campus and its satellite clinics in a culturally diverse community. This 13-week contract role located in Cameron, AZ, offers the chance to work with neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients using the Allscripts EMR system.

Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and collaborating across inpatient and outpatient departments. The role involves rotational shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, allowing exposure to a variety of clinical settings. Pharmacists have opportunities for advancement from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist, with increasing leadership responsibilities such as overseeing specialized pharmacy clinics and supervising pharmacy staff including technicians and assistants.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted pharmacy license in a U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist
  • At least one year of clinical pharmacist experience
  • Ability to submit and clear fingerprinting prior to start

Location:

  • Cameron, AZ, serving a broad community including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute populations within a scenic semi-desert plateau
