A major 500-bed hospital seeks a Pharmacist to support its inpatient pharmacy team in York, PA. This contract role offers an immediate start and extends for 13 weeks or longer, with a variable schedule including days and afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and timely
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow efficiency
• Consult with physicians on medication therapy and patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize dosing
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for order management and inventory control

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficient with EPIC and Pyxis technology
