Pharmacist - Camp Point, IL

An established 300-bed hospital near Camp Point, IL is seeking a dedicated inpatient pharmacist to cover the overnight shift. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications during critical night hours in a hospital setting.

Location: Near Camp Point, Illinois
Shift: Overnight, 7 days on / 7 days off (~9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 13 weeks plus potential extension

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications accurately for inpatient units during overnight hours
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient medication regimens
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
• Participate in pharmacy rounds and patient care discussions as needed

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication management in a hospital setting
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
