Seeking a Pharmacist with hospital experience to support an inpatient care team on a 13-week contract. This role is centered around delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services within a hospital setting.
Location:
- Campbell, CA
Schedule:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Variable days and afternoon shifts
- Some weekend coverage required
- ASAP start
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
- Manage inpatient pharmaceutical care within the hospital using Cerner IT systems
Qualifications:
- Active California pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Availability for full-time schedule as described
- Ability to work effectively within budget parameters
