Per Diem Pharmacist in Candler, NC

A well-established independent community pharmacy in Asheville, NC, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services on a per diem basis. Location:

• Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Two guaranteed shifts per week
• Fixed shift on Fridays, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• One additional weekday shift (Monday through Thursday), scheduled by mutual agreement to maintain consistency
• Day shifts only

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide patient counseling to ensure proper use of medications
• Maintain detailed records and documentation as required
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage inventory and ensure the availability of medications
• Uphold pharmacy standards and deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid North Carolina Pharmacist license
• Proven retail pharmacy experience preferred
