A well-established independent community pharmacy in Asheville, NC, seeks a dedicated pharmacist to provide consistent, high-quality care on a per diem basis. This role offers the opportunity to work two fixed shifts per week, with the potential for permanent placement in the future.

Location: Asheville, NC
Setting: Independent Community/Retail Pharmacy
Schedule:

• Guaranteed two shifts per week with the same pharmacist
• Fixed shift on Fridays, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• One additional weekday shift (Monday-Thursday) mutually agreed upon and consistent
• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage and possible side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Manage inventory and verify prescription authenticity

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred
