Pharmacist | Canonsburg, Pennsylvania

A children's hospital with 300 beds is seeking three skilled pharmacists for a 13-week contract in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This role involves working in a dynamic hospital setting where patient care and medication safety are top priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Apply knowledge of pharmacokinetics in patient care
• Consult and collaborate with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Pharmacist licensed in Pennsylvania
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a pharmacy residency program
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
