Per Diem Pharmacist - Canonsburg, PA

Provide expert pharmacy care as a Pharmacist supporting retail operations in the Washington, Pennsylvania area. This per diem role offers the opportunity to practice your skills under the guidance of a manager, ensuring patients receive safe and effective medication therapy.

Schedule & Location:

• Shift: 1st shift
• Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Location: Canonsburg, PA (serving Washington, PA)
• Start Date: August 7th

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Counsel and advise patients on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, following established policies.
• Maintain accurate stock records and controlled substance inventories.
• Resolve patient issues related to medications and assist with clarifying third-party insurance coverage.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with Pioneer software is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
