A pharmacy professional is needed for a contract-to-hire position at a closed-door HIV/AIDS specialty mail-order pharmacy located in Cape Coral, FL. The role primarily focuses on prescription verification and direct communication with healthcare providers and patients to ensure exceptional patient care and medication accuracy.

Shift and Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a specialized mail-order pharmacy setting.
• Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Support the delivery of HIV/AIDS medications with attention to detail and patient needs.
• Demonstrate reliability by maintaining punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Foster a positive and professional attitude within the team environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold a current Florida pharmacist license.
• At least one year of retail pharmacy experience is required.
• HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience is essential and should be clearly noted on the resume.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is strongly preferred; please confirm experience.
• Strong communication skills, both with patients and healthcare providers.

Additional Information: This position is a contract-to-hire engagement with an immediate start. The pharmacy’s Fort Myers mail-order site employs over 45 staff dedicated to timely medication delivery and patient support.
