Pharmacist in Cape Coral, FL

This opportunity is for a pharmacist position located in Cape Coral, FL, within a specialized closed-door HIV/AIDS mail-order pharmacy. The role offers a contract-to-hire engagement, beginning immediately, with an initial assignment of approximately 13 weeks. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions and maintaining clear and effective communication with both healthcare providers and patients. This position plays a critical part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need efficiently and accurately.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Active Florida pharmacist license.
• Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is essential and must be explicitly noted on the resume.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is preferred.
