Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Duration: 13+ weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is hired

Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and verify medication orders for hospital inpatients
• Utilize automated dispensing machines to facilitate efficient medication distribution
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administrators to ensure safe and timely pharmaceutical care
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of medication dispensing and inventory management
• Support adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid VA pharmacist license is required
• Experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably inpatient settings
• Proficiency in data order entry and medication verification systems
• Experience with automated dispensing machines
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clinical and administrative staff
