Per Diem Pharmacist in Carmichael, CA

An urgent opportunity is available for licensed pharmacists to provide per diem support in the Northern California Bay Area. This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible shifts to supplement their current part-time schedules, with approximately 1-2 shifts per week typically requested.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality pharmacy services across multiple retail sites
• Manage daily operations including opening and closing pharmacies
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow efficiency
• Utilize pharmacy software systems such as McKesson Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30
• Travel locally within the Bay Area and surrounding communities to various client locations, with mileage reimbursement for distances over 30 miles one way

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience
• Proven ability to manage pharmacy operations and tech personnel
• Comfortable commuting within the greater Northern California region
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Location:

• Carmichael, CA, with travel throughout the Bay Area and Northern California as needed
