Per Diem Pharmacist in Carmichael, CA

A pharmacy staffing opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists interested in per diem work in the Carmichael, CA area. This role requires flexibility and the ability to cover shifts as needed at multiple locations within the Northern California region, including retail pharmacy sites.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional pharmacy services during assigned shifts
• Open and close pharmacy locations as needed
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Utilize pharmacy software systems such as McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 for accurate prescription processing
• Travel locally within the Bay Area to cover various store locations, with mileage reimbursement available for travel over 30 miles one way

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Experience in pharmacy opening and closing procedures
• Proven ability to manage pharmacy technicians effectively
• Comfortable commuting to different locations within the Northern California area
• Part-time or semi-retired pharmacists interested in additional shifts are encouraged to apply
