Pharmacist in Carson, WA

A relief pharmacist opportunity is available in a small town near the WA/OR border requiring coverage on specified dates from mid-July through September. This contract role focuses on hospital pharmacy practice within a supportive team environment.

Location:

• Carson, WA

Schedule:

• Shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Coverage needed on select days in July, August, and Fridays in September
• No on-call responsibilities
• Support from pharmacy technicians provided

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services consistent with hospital standards
• Utilize Cerner and Pyxis systems for medication dispensing and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Attend a brief training period to familiarize with facility protocols

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital pharmacy experience
• Comfortable working in a small-town hospital setting
• Proficiency with Cerner and Pyxis systems preferred
