This contract opportunity begins on 5/18 and will continue until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The position requires weekend shifts, specifically Saturday and Sunday, 6 hours each day.
Responsibilities include working with automated medication systems, ensuring proper drug repackaging, and maintaining restock reports efficiently. The pharmacist will play a vital role in managing medication distribution and supporting patient care in a specialized behavioral health environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Iowa (IA license required)
- Experience with Omnicell medication systems preferred
- Familiarity with repackaging medications using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL methods is desirable
- Basic knowledge of loading drugs into automated dispensing machines and generating restock reports
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday
- 6 hours per day
