This part-time Retail Pharmacist role offers an ongoing assignment within a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska. The position involves working a two-week rotating schedule with a flexible approach based on the candidate's availability and pharmacy needs.
Schedule Details:
- Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours total)
- Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours total)
- Pharmacy Manager is open to adjusting the schedule if needed
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety
- Providing patient counseling when necessary
- Overseeing pharmacy workflow, including technician support
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
- Delivering exceptional customer service in a retail pharmacy environment
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
- Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules when required
- Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise preferred but not mandatory
