Pharmacist - Cass Lake, Minnesota

A specialty pharmacy in Walker, MN is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support their Long Term Care and retail operations from June through September. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a focused pharmacy setting, handling diverse patient needs and medication management.

The ideal candidate will hold a PharmD degree or be MTM certified, with immunization and CPR certifications preferred. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate dispensing, providing patient counseling, managing medication therapy, and supporting immunization delivery as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a specialty pharmacy environment
• Perform medication therapy management and patient counseling
• Administer immunizations and maintain records as required
• Support long term care pharmacy operations including medication reviews and coordination
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

• PharmD or MTM certification required
• Immunization certification preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
