A specialty pharmacy in Bemidji, MN is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a contract position lasting 13+ weeks. This role involves performing long-term care pharmacist duties in a professional, patient-focused setting.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Some weekend shifts required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management for long-term care patients
- Ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of medications
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Administer immunizations as needed
- Support medication therapy management (MTM) services
Preferred Qualifications:
- PharmD degree or equivalent
- Certification in immunization administration
- CPR certification
- MTM certification highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a healthcare team
