Pharmacist in Cass Lake, MN

A specialty pharmacy seeks an experienced pharmacist to manage long-term care pharmacy responsibilities. This contract role, based in Bemidji, MN, offers a consistent schedule with opportunities for some weekend work over a 13+ week assignment.

The ideal candidate will be immunization certified, possess CPR certification, and hold a PharmD or be MTM certified. Experience in specialty pharmacy services and long-term care pharmacy duties is essential to deliver exceptional patient care and support medication management.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage long-term care pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate dispensing and medication management
• Provide patient counseling and education regarding medication use and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and standards
• Participate in immunization programs and emergency response initiatives as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• PharmD degree or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification
• Immunization certification
• Current CPR certification
• Prior experience in specialty pharmacy and long-term care settings preferred
• Strong communication and clinical skills to support patient and provider needs
