Per Diem Retail Pharmacist in Chandler, AZ

Support retail pharmacy operations at multiple locations in the greater Phoenix, AZ area by joining a per diem pharmacist team servicing food and pharmacy settings. This opportunity is ideal for experienced retail pharmacists who are seeking flexible part-time work—typically 2 to 4 days per week—to help cover call outs, vacations, and fluctuations in prescription volume.

Location: Chandler, AZ and surrounding Phoenix metro area

Schedule/Hours:

• Mon – Sat, shifts usually 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Some locations may require hours until 8:00 p.m.
• Shifts are on an as-needed basis; no guaranteed hours

Responsibilities:

• Fill an average daily volume of 100–125 prescriptions per location
• Provide expert retail pharmacy care including patient counseling, medication verification, and immunizations
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians; some sites may operate pharmacist-only, requiring independent decision-making
• Complete initial and ongoing training to ensure proficiency with QS1 pharmacy systems and site protocols

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Valid pharmacist license in Arizona without restrictions
• Immunization certification and current BLS card required
• Experience with QS1 systems is a plus, helping to reduce training time
