Pharmacist - Chandler, AZ

A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Pharmacy to oversee pharmacy operations at two Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospitals in the greater Phoenix area. This contract role is based in Chandler, AZ, and involves directing clinical and operational pharmacy services to ensure optimal patient care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing pharmacy staff and workflow across both facilities, developing and implementing policies and procedures, overseeing medication distribution and safety protocols, coordinating with medical and administrative leadership, and ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. The Director of Pharmacy will lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication across interdisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active state licensure
• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Director or similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of LTAC pharmacy operations and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
