This opportunity seeks experienced pharmacists for per diem positions supporting multiple pharmacies within a food and pharmacy retail setting in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. Candidates will be part of a flexible team providing coverage for call-outs, vacations, and volume fluctuations across several locations. This role is ideal for pharmacists looking to work part-time, approximately 2-4 days per week, with schedules primarily Monday through Saturday, generally 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations staying open until 8 p.m.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily pharmacy operations, dispensing medications, providing immunizations, and ensuring excellent patient care with strong technician support. Pharmacists will work with QS1 pharmacy software and receive initial paid training (typically one 8-hour shift, with additional training available if needed).

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience; 5+ years preferred for higher compensation
  • Valid Arizona pharmacist license without restrictions
  • Immunization certification and current BLS card required
  • Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy system is a plus
  • Ability to deliver professional, patient-centered service in a busy retail environment

Location and Travel Details:

  • Positions located in Chandler, AZ, with most sites commutable from Phoenix
  • Mileage reimbursement available for commutes over 30 miles
  • Meals stipend and hotel accommodations provided for travel exceeding 75 miles
