Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure safe and effective treatment
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing consultations to optimize patient outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses for clinical decision support
• Oversee daily operations of pharmacy technicians and maintain workflow efficiency
• Utilize pharmacy technologies such as EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active NC pharmacist license required
• Approximately 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts, including schedules of either three 12-hour shifts (7 pm to 7 am) or a 7-on/7-off rotation
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly beneficial

Schedule:

• Nights: 7 pm to 7 am
• Option of either 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts or a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
