Per Diem Pharmacist in Chattanooga, TN

An independent compounding pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist for vacation coverage in Chattanooga, TN, with assignments starting May 27-29 and ongoing needs available. This role involves supervising pharmacy operations and providing expert oversight during busy periods in a high-volume environment processing approximately 1,000 compounds daily.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Lunch break from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
• Closed on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription filling, and handling phone inquiries
• Address and resolve any questions or issues that arise during pharmacy operations
• Supervise the mail order eye drop department, managing shipments of three variations of post-cataract surgery eye drops

Qualifications:

• Current, active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacist experience
• Mail order pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory
