A well-established independent compounding pharmacy in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist for vacation coverage from May 27-29, with additional ongoing opportunities available. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations in a high-volume mail order pharmacy specializing in post-cataract surgery eye drops.

Schedule:

• Pharmacy hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Lunch break: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
• Closed on weekends

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription filling, and customer communication
• Provide expert guidance and answer any clinical or operational questions that arise
• Oversee the mail order eye drop department, ensuring the accurate preparation and shipment of three different formulations designed for post-cataract surgery patients

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years professional pharmacist experience
• Experience in mail order pharmacy preferred but not mandatory
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage technicians and support patient needs
