Pharmacist in Checotah, OK

A clinical Pharmacist role is available at a specialty hospital focusing on long-term acute care and rehabilitation in Oklahoma. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in an inpatient setting supporting patient care and medication management.

Location:

• Muskogee, Oklahoma

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Consult with physicians and healthcare team members regarding pharmacotherapy and medication-related issues
• Ensure medication safety and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Oklahoma Pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital or inpatient setting, preferably in LTAC or rehab
• Strong knowledge of medication therapies, drug interactions, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff and patients
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
