Per Diem Pharmacist - Chesapeake, VA

Schedule:

• Thursday, 6/4/2026 from 8 AM – 5 PM
• Friday, 6/5/2026 from 8 AM – 5 PM
• Thursday, 6/18/2026 from 8 AM – 5 PM
• Friday, 6/19/2026 from 8 AM – 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform all pharmacist duties independently, including verifying prescriptions, dispensing medications accurately, and counseling patients.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to pharmacy practice.
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software to manage prescriptions, inventory, and documentation efficiently.
• Provide professional and compassionate service while working autonomously.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear VA pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software; experience with PioneerRx preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
