This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist seeking to enhance their inpatient skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring medication safety and optimizing patient outcomes through collaboration and expert pharmaceutical care.

Location:

• Chetek, WI

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Responsibilities:

• Order verification and medication dispensing
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring compliance with protocols
• Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to provide pharmacological expertise
• Managing pharmacokinetics and helping tailor individualized patient medication regimens
• Utilizing Cerner for electronic health records and medication management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Willingness and ability to obtain a Wisconsin Temporary Pharmacy License
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems, ideally Cerner

This contract position spans approximately 13 weeks, with potential for extension. The 7-on, 7-off schedule allows for a balanced work-life rhythm, supporting both professional focus and personal time.
