Position Overview:

• Location: Northern Wisconsin (Chetek area)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks or longer
• Start Date: June 15
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7 days on followed by 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow and compliance
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapies
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge in clinical decision-making
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information system for documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Willingness to obtain a Wisconsin temporary pharmacist license
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Competency with electronic health record systems, Cerner experience is a plus
